The ‘LinScan’ is the most versatile diode laser on the market - it makes various skin applications profitable without the need for anaesthesia or gel, all possible with a single hand piece. GME was looking for a reliable partner for the complete software development of its worldwide marketed medical product.
Sioux took care of the software of the base unit and developed a part of the hardware of the applicator module. This included the µ-controller programming and the user interface. Sioux also designed, implemented, generated and tested the license management for the devices.
Established software development processes and the use of the documentation structure (add4Q) speeded up development times enormously. The customer was able to focus entirely on the hardware development. The new license management enables GME with the exploitation of new business models.
