The customer wants to bring their first product to market to enable cost-effective, highly sensitive measurements for measuring bonding between biological molecules. This shall accelerate research by at least a factor of 4 and reduces the cost of ownership by a factor of 5.
Sioux designed and developed the instrument within a short period of nine months. We executed detailed concept studies, de-risked the key functionalities by FUMOs and designed and engineered the instrument. Currently we are producing the Alpha series. Sioux designed the mechanics, electronics and embedded software running on the instrument. Together with our industrial design partner, the external enclosure was designed within an A3 footprint.
The launch of this product will offer customers of Delta Life Science a high sensitivity, high throughput solution at a low cost, making it accessible for all.
